巴西足球俱樂部查比高恩斯（Chapecoense）日前因飛機失事，19名隊員罹難，當中「幸運」逃過一劫的老牌門將Nivaldo哽咽宣布退休。
「我應該搭上那架飛機的，但我留了下來。」42歲的Nivaldo難過地說。
Nivaldo表示，原本直飛的球隊班機後來因故改為需要轉機，「教練（Caio）告訴我，我不用去了。」
「每件事情發生都有原因，我沒去客場是因為我要留在主場對米內羅競技（Atletico-MG）。」Nivaldo說：「那將會是我的第300場出賽，我的告別之作。」
